da blaze casino: Wolves winger Matt Jarvis has vowed to retain his focus after narrowly missing out on selection for the England squad for the friendly international against France at Wembley.
da bet sport: The 24-year-old was included in a preliminary squad, but missed out when head coach Fabio Capello made the final cut.
Jarvis told his club’s official website:“It’s always nice to be linked with a possible call-up and I’ve just got to keep doing what I’m doing and wait and see.
“It’s one of those situations when you have to ignore the speculation and what’s being said, because it’s not something you have any control over.
“You just want to do everything you can on the pitch. I just need to keep playing consistently well for Wolves and see what happens.”
Molineux boss Mick McCarthy added:“I felt a little sad for him, especially with the hype beforehand after he’d been named in the provisional squad.
“All he’s got to do is keep playing and you can force the issue with your performances.”
