Leny Yoro is back in Manchester United training for the first time since suffering a foot injury in the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

The French defender, who joined United in a £52 million deal ($68m) from Lille this summer, had a nightmare start to his journey with the Premier League side as he picked up a foot injury during a pre-season friendly in the United States. He has missed the first three months of the 2024-25 campaign after undergoing surgery, but has now made a full recovery and was spotted in training on Wednesday.

Per the Daily Mail's Chris Wheeler, Antony too has recovered from the ankle injury that he suffered during the Red Devils' Europa League draw against Fenerbahce. The Brazilian missed the next three fixtures against West Ham, Leicester City and Chelsea, but has now resumed training with the rest of the squad.

Yoro coming back from his knock is indeed good news for the Premier League giants, however, interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy might not rush him onto the pitch as the club will want the Frenchman to regain full fitness gradually.

The Europa League fixture on Thursday against PAOK will be the penultimate game for Van Nistelrooy as interim manager, with Ruben Amorim set to take over from Erik ten Hag next week. The Dutchman will lead the team for the final time against Leicester on Sunday in the Premier League.
