da dobrowin: Liverpool fans are absolutely loving Xherdan Shaqiri’s start to life in a Liverpool shirt, as the winger hit back at Charlie Adam’s bizarre criticism.
Shaqiri has been forced to wait to make his mark at Liverpool due to the sheer quality in front of him, but the Swiss international was sensational on his full debut last weekend.
The 26 year-old set up the Southampton own goal with a nice run and cross, and it was his wonderful free kick that cannoned off the crossbar for Mohamed Salah to tap in.
His role as a support player is of course extremely different to his position at Stoke City last season, where he as the main man for goals and assists.

Rather bizarrely though, former Liverpool man Adam struck out at Shaqiri when he moved this summer, saying the winger was lazy during their time at Stoke.
Shaqiri has now finally responded to the criticism, and Liverpool fans are absolutely loving it.
“I was one of the only ones who helped the team with goals in difficult games and he was that guy who took the red card in league games and missed a penalty,” the 26 year-old said.
