da leao: Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho made a major mistake by not bringing Giovani Lo Celso off the bench against Chelsea.
Snapshot
da wazamba: Spurs turned in a remarkably poor performance against the Blues, falling to a dismal 2-0 defeat.
Lo Celso, an Argentina international, was sat on the bench watching on as the north Londoners were soundly beaten.
Jose Mourinho made a change at half-time, bringing Christian Eriksen on in place of Eric Dier, while a late double substitution, in the 74th minute, saw Tanguy Ndombele and Danny Rose introduced for Lucas Moura and Jan Vertonghen respectively.

The problem was that Eriksen had precious little impact on the game.
Per WhoScored, he had 54 touches of the ball, while he did not register a key pass, nor did he manage to provide an accurate corner, despite taking three in the second period.
One has to feel that Lo Celso could have added some greater dynamism and actually impacted the game in the final third.
Off the bench
Eriksen has been poor for some time now.
Per WhoScored, he has averaged a rating of 6.24 under Mourinho across four games, registering just one assist in those encounters.
Lo Celso, meanwhile, has barely had a look-in. He has played just seven minutes under the Portuguese, but history suggests he can be an excellent option.
Against Sheffield United, in Mauricio Pochettino’s last game as manager, Lo Celso played 90 minutes and registered two key passes, two dribbles and two shots on goal.
Money talks: How much did Levy pay for each of these Spurs stars?
Eriksen has as many key passes in four games as the former Real Betis man did in 90 minutes.
Not only that, but the Argentina international is a proven goalscorer too, netting 16 in all competitions for Betis last season.
He could have had a serious impact had he been given the chance.
Meanwhile, Spurs fans have reacted to a link with a Ligue 1 star.
